Miranda Leung
Miranda Leung - Sunlight on a Butterfly Fish – Art to Miranda is the ultimate vessel for the freedom of expression and through this process, one represents the world and essence of feelings. With a passion for diving, Miranda has created a series of underwater paintings to show off the beauty of the sea and the living creatures in this magnificent world for this exhibition.
Susan Birth
Susan Birth - Inspired by Artefacts l - Susan is a painter and mixed media artist. Susan uses acrylic paint, inks and collage to create represntational and semi-abstract peices, mainly landscape and still life. Through positivity and inventive use of colour and imagery, she hopes to draw and hold the viewers gaze, perhaps evoking a thought, memory, mood or emotion.
Hayley Reynolds
Hayley Reynolds - Pathway Through Love - Hayley’s work is truly an example of a multidisciplinary artist with mediums such as watercolour and acrylic to Italian plaster (contemporary fresco) and metal based products/oxidation. Hayley creates very much in the moment, with her influence firmly based around the natural world.
Joanna Sellick
Joanna Sellick - Gilda - Joanna works directly from life, as well as imaginatively, and is predominantly preoccupied with figuration. “I want the people in my paintings to tell human stories. They might be in a reflective mood, there may be physical resignation, worry, even exhaustion. I want the viewer to experience that.”
Lizzie Bentley
Lizzie Bentley - Peonies in a Red Jug - Working directly from life, Lizzie takes times setting up a still-life, usually flowers, in her studio. Painting in oils, she begins each of her paintings in a representational manner. Once Lizzie becomes absorbed in the process and painting has established itself, she inevitably finds herself taking a more perceptual and emotional approach, capturing how she feels about the subject in front of her.
